Appalling Customer Service

I had a booked appointment at the Baby Scan Clinic for Saturday 4th February at 0900am. We arrived at 0845 am and were shown into a waiting room. After waiting for 20/25 minutes we went to enquire if there was a delay and was told us that the person doing the scan was running late and it would be another 15 mins, we were happy to wait so went back into the waiting room. After being there for over an hour the receptionist told us that the person doing the scan would now be another hour and that they were cancelling our appointment. We were unable to speak to anyone and the receptionist had no idea of what was happening. We later got voicemail to tell us to call back on Monday for a refund or rebooking. Considering the unprofessional way this appointment was handled I am taking their offer of a refund as I am appalled that this clinic is dealing with pregnant women and had no consideration for the journey we had made to get there and the disappointment and upset we felt at our appointment being cancelled. Would never recommend this clinic.

I purchased this Groupon offer as a present for myself and my husband for our first baby together which is due on the25th April 2012.

The first time I booked my scan online it was in January I had to call the organisation to confirm my booking as they did not send me an email or call to confirm. Finally someone called me back to arrange another date which was for last Friday 10th February. Again I called them to confirm my booking was still booked and confirmed for Friday and luckily it was.

When we got tot the venue, we waited for our appointment which was on time. The sonographer did their job and got me comfortable and ready for my scan. Unfortunately the baby at this point was facing another direction so I walked around the room to move the baby's position. At this stage the sonographer said we could re-schedule another appointment if we wanted to but it doesn't mean the scan would be clear. At that point the baby moved so we were able to see the baby on screen so the scan started and so far it was good we were able to see our baby clearly on screen.

Now my complaint is after the scan was over we were told the printer was out of order therefore we wouldn't get our 8-10 images as promised on the Groupon offer on that day, we would have to get them in the post. Fair enough i left all my details on my Groupon voucher with the sonographer. Then once we got home we put in our DVD and realised it was only a DVD recording for 5 mins and 9 seconds long and not even a proper DVD recording, it was clips of images not a proper DVD of the whole scan as promised.

Today I get back from work and my supposedly paid for Groupon offer of 8-10 images arrived...and this is what I got 7 out of 10 images of nothing in particular except for possibly one clear image.

I x image of what looks like an arm???
2 x identical images of a head and no face
1 x image which is clear
3 x images which are also just identical

And finally this is just ridiculous the final image is that of another person's baby, yes thats correct we were sent another persons baby images....so where are the rest of our baby's images and why have we been sent someone's else's image namely that being someone called "McKenna Eileen"....this is so so bad for an organisation and I am not happy the slightest.

I therefore would like a refund to be commissioned here or at least some sort of compensation from this company which doesn't involve me being seven months pregnant travelling into town to Harley Street to see these incompetent people in this organisation as I do NOT want to have a re-scan..

This is more of patient confidentiality also, I have someone else's personal photo?? And I suppose they may have one or two of ours as we didn't get what we paid for. This cost us £99.00 and it was not worth that considering.

I have emailed them twice since the experience and not one response.
